Pivitec at InfoComm 2014 Wrap Up

It’s hard to believe that just over a week has already gone by since we got back from InfoComm 14. After weeks (or months) of preparation our time at the show seemed to be over in an instant. (That is, except for set-up and teardown!) Overall the show had a very positive feel and traffic on the first 2 days seemed brisk - at least in the Pivitec booth where we barely had a chance to come up for air! For those of you who missed InfoComm this year, or who did not get a chance to drop by our booth (surely due to an alien abduction or other extenuating circumstances), here is a brief wrap up of what Pivitec had going on.

Our goal for InfoComm this year was to demonstrate that Ethernet AVB is ready and that Pivitec has AVB solutions available for use in AV projects today. In addition to formally announcing the release of our new MADI and ADAT Network Audio Interfaces, we integrated digital consoles from Avid, Yamaha and DigiCo with Pivitec’s Personal Monitor Mix system via an Ethernet AVB network that spanned two booths. (Thanks to our next door neighbors at Luminex!) Plus, we collaborated in technology demos with Avid, Luminex and Professional Wireless.

This year at InfoComm we also introduced an expansion of our growing International sales network by welcoming 3 new US Reps and 5 new International distributors. Domestically, we are proud to announce that Quest Marketing will be handling the SouthEast Region including Florida while MacWest has been appointed in the Southern California territory. Additionally, North Coast Marketing in on board in Ohio. Our new International Distributors include Pro Audio-Technik in Germany, PlusMusic in Switzerland, Neotécnica in Spain and Audiosales s.r.l in Italy. Last, but not least, Pivitec is pleased to announce that Gerr Audio will be our new distribution partner in Canada. We’ll have more details on that announcement soon.

Overall, we had a great show and appreciate everyone who had a chance to stop buy the booth and look forward to working on some new and exciting opportunities and projects. In addition, it is always enjoyable to see some old friends and make new ones!

Here's a look at the booth just after load-in. Lots of work ahead in the Las Vegas Convention Center. They don't run the AC on set-up days!
